Introducing the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center

The Etter-Harbin Alumni Center is located on the University of Texas Campus, just west of the University of Texas Football stadium. Surrounded by 100 year-old oak trees and the historic Waller Creek, the historic and charming property features floor to ceiling windows overlooking a lush landscape in the heart of downtown Austin.

Filled with lively Longhorn spirit, the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center has hosted the Texas Exes Association since 1965, but you don’t have to be an alumni to hold an event in the space. So if you’re searching for a conveniently located space with high ceilings, surrounded by a lush oasis, The Etter-Harbin Alumni Center might be the event space you’ve been looking for!

Venue Use Fees

$2,000 to $4,000

FEE INCLUDES

- Four hours of event time, three hours of setup, and one hour of break-down
- All tables and chairs
- Choice of black, white or ivory linen
- Vendor room for entertainers and catering
- All setup and breakdown

Additional Rentals

Rosemary’s Catering provides all standard linens (in black, white or ivory), tables, reception chairs, and presets (china, silverware and glassware) at no additional charge. Typically the only additional rentals required for this venue are ceremony chairs, which start at $4.50 each.

Outdoor Tenting

Tenting is not necessary for a wedding at Etter-Harbin Alumni Center. The beautiful outside space is available as part of your rental, and you can rest assured that you have a lovely indoor back-up rain plan if needed!

Heating + Cooling

All indoor areas have built-in heating and cooling.

Sound + Lighting

Couples are encouraged to use a third party AV and lighting company. Estimate $940 on average for ceremony sound.

Additional power is not typically needed at this venue

Stage + Dance floor

If you wish to rent a stage of bring in a dancefloor, Rosemary’s Catering can schedule that for you. Plan to budget approximately $1,100 for a stage and $1,200 for a dance floor.

Restroom Facilities

Large luxurious restrooms are accessible throughout the event space.

TRAVEL

Bussing

Bussing is not common unless you’re holding the wedding ceremony off-site. Even still, bussing is not common due to the convenient location of the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center.

Valet

You are not required to offer valet, but it is an elegant option.
