Introducing The Bullock Museum
You don’t need to be a history buff to fall in love with this property. The museum features ample natural light, downtown convenience, and a clean minimalist ambiance that works with many event designs.
The Bullock Museum attracts couples who are looking for a grand reception space that is distinct from a hotel ballroom. The museum’s versatile indoor space allows couples the freedom to experiment with a variety of layouts. The rotunda is awash with natural light and the grand staircase accentuates the modern (yet traditional) atmosphere, making it a one of a kind venue, in the heart of Austin.

Outdoor Tenting
Tenting is not necessary for a wedding at The Bullock Museum. The beautiful outside space is available for rent, and you can rest assured that you have a lovely indoor back-up rain plan if needed!
Heating + Cooling
All indoor areas have built-in heating and cooling.
Sound + Lighting
Couples are encouraged to use a third party AV and lighting company. Estimate $940 on average for ceremony sound.

Additional power is not typically needed at this venue
Stage + Dance floor
Most couples use the existing polished granite floor as the dance floor. If you wish to rent a stage, Rosemary’s Catering can schedule that for you. Plan to budget approximately $1,100 for a stage.
Restroom Facilities
Large luxurious restrooms are accessible throughout the event space.
TRAVEL
Bussing
Bussing is not common unless you’re holding the wedding ceremony off-site. Even still, bussing is not common due to the convenient location of the Bullock Museum.
Valet
You are not required to offer valet, but it is an elegant option.
